I look down
And you still have your socks on
Do you go every where with them?
You should have left them behind
I step in to the river, cold mud, grass, and squish
Squash, my toes play
You dont know what your missing
By holding onto those socks
Don’t wrinkle your nose at me
Maybe you should have stayed home
With your socks
Safe next to the bed stand where you belong
Unless… your willing to lose the socks
